At a large mining site in Gansu, China, mining trucks are essential equipment for daily operations. However, due to the vast area of the mining site and the large number of trucks, the company faced difficulties in accurately managing the fuel consumption and travel routes of each mining truck. This information gap led to fuel waste and increased operational costs. Additionally, there was no reliable method to track the trucks’ real-time locations or conduct long-term data analysis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Solution<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

To address these challenges, we provided a smart fuel consumption and route monitoring system for the mining operation. The system is centered around external adhesive fuel level sensors, GPS modules, and 4G wireless transmission modules, complemented by a software platform for real-time monitoring and long-term analysis of fuel consumption and travel routes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
