The Ultrasonic Proximity Sensor Archives is an open-source platform used for applications (hardware or software) which require ultrasonic proximity sensors. This platform can be used for the development of new applications and includes the Board, Motion Meter, and Arduino development code. Accurate and fast proximity detection. These Ultrasonic Proximity Sensors are completely non-contact components so they don’t physically touch the objects that they are measuring the distance from. The design of these sensors provides for both excellent accuracy and very low noise making them ideal for detecting objects near or even touching a surface without the need for physical contact. These sensors are equipped with an amplifier that amplifies the sound waves giving the sensor a greater range than other ultrasonic sensors. The ultrasonic proximity sensors can be used in many applications tracking industrial parts, collision avoidance and auto navigation.
