KWS-671 Portable Handheld Dissolved Oxygen Meter
Overview
The KWS-671 is a portable handheld meter for dissolved oxygen measurement in the field. The microprocessor-based instrument automatically recognises Kacise digital sensors and combines measurement, display and data logging in a single handheld platform, with a sealed keypad, a backlit LCD and USB data transmission to a PC.
The DO sensor adopts fluorescence lifetime technology based on the quenching of active fluorescence. Because the measurement consumes no oxygen, there is no flow-rate limitation, no electrolyte to preheat or replace, and no frequent calibration and maintenance. Response time (T90) is as low as 20 s, which makes dissolved oxygen readings faster, more stable and more accurate on site.
Automatic temperature and air-pressure compensation, together with manual salinity input, keeps readings reliable in unstable water bodies such as aeration tanks and sewage treatment plants. The meter supports automatic locking of the dissolved oxygen reading, a selectable probe filter mode, one-point or two-point user calibration, and storage of up to 40,096 results exportable through the USB interface.
